Okay, so it's no romance novel, but might make a decent romantic comedy...
One day, Nicole was checking her email and saw an ad for the website American Singles at the top of the page. Being bored, she decided to check it out and see if she knew any of the people that had posted profiles. But there was a catch, she had to post one herself before she was allowed to view any. So, once again, being bored, she went ahead and did so, using CUPchick as her username. A few days later, Ryan sent her a message on ICQ. He thought CUP stood for California University of Pennsylvania. We started talking and found out we were from the same area and had mutual friends. Strange that we had never met before! After that, we talked everyday, until Winter Break came around and we decided to meet.
I was excited and went out and bought a new outfit for our date. Unfortunately, while visiting with my cousin Steph and her son, Bryan, beforehand, Bryan spilled his drink on me. I had to search around to find another good first date outfit and try not to be late getting to our meeting place. When I got to the BiLo parking lot, where we planned to meet and then ride together, I didn't see the red truck Ryan said he'd be driving. It turns out, he'd had to drive his mom's mini-van instead. He was also a little shorter than he had let on. The ride to Clarion was great though, we couldn't stop talking to each other. We found out that we were taking similar classes (desktop publishing and graphic design) and bonded over Photoshop. We went to Destinta Theaters to see Old School and then on the way home stopped at TA for some peanut butter pie. I remember him telling me that I had pretty eyes and programming my phone number into his cell at the table. I was impressed by his Etnies shoes because I love their logo.
On our next date, we went bowling at Gateway Lanes and then to dinner at Gilbert's. It was after this date that we officially became a couple.
